Let me e'splain...

Several years ago I was serving as a missionary in Cleveland, Ohio. My fellow missionaries and I were sitting in a Chinese restaurant, watching Elder Wayment eat his body weight in sugar-covered fried dough and giggling at everything. Wayment turned to me in the middle of a conversation and said, "Sister Frisch" (that was my name at the time), "I wish there was a TV screen on your forehead so that everyone could see what the heck you're thinking." At the time, I thought to myself, "Right back at ya," but then I thought about it - when I talk to people for the first time, I often get this look:

For my sweet family that I miss so dearly and my friends who might wonder what the heck I'm thinking, I have started a blog - but I don't like the word "blog," so let's call it a... journal? my thoughts about things that I have opinions about? a place to talk about my cute baby that people on Facebook are probably annoyed by? Whatever. Welcome to the TV screen on my forehead. If you need further clarification for anything you read here, please post a comment and don't make that face at me.
